Brad J. Gorrondona, RPLS – Owner and President

As the founding principal of Gorrondona & Associates, Inc., Brad offers over 31 years of experience in land surveying. Brad moved to Texas in 1979, joining SurTex Surveying Company as a Crew Chief in 1983. After spending seven years working with other firms, Brad launched Gorrondona & Associates, Inc. in 1990 with a vision of offering high quality land surveying services to local public sector agencies and engineering consultants. To answer repeated requests, Brad expanded his firm to also offer Subsurface Utility Engineering and Utility Coordination, taking Gorrondona & Associates from a small Fort Worth-based business with a start-up staff of three to its current size of over 90. Gorrondona & Associates recognizes gross revenues exceeding $14 million annually and serves the entire state of Texas with offices in Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, Austin and Lubbock.



Brad Gorrondona

Brad attended Louisiana State University for three years, transferring to Tarrant County Community College where he received his Associates Degree in Surveying Technology. Brad has been licensed in Texas as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor since 1988.

Brad has resided in the Fort Worth area since 1983. He is very active in both the civic and professional communities, having served on the Board of Directors of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for the past 6 years, recently serving as the co-chair of the  Scholarship Committee and currently as Chair-Elect of the Chamber.

As President and CEO of Gorrondona & Associates, Brad is responsible for the overall management of Gorrondona & Associates, Inc. and directs the business development and quality control efforts for the firm.


Jeffrey K. Vick – Director of Operations

Jeff is a senior member of G&AI and offers more than 22 years of experience in major areas of utility construction and coordination. During the past 12 years he has provided Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and Utility Coordination on various type projects including water transmission, municipal infrastructure, highways, aviation and rail.

Jeff has managed bridge and highway design-build projects in the US including Puerto Rico, and has been a key member on several CDAs in Texas. With a background in construction, Jeff brings a unique perspective to each project, having previously represented owners in design reviews and construction negotiations and management. With G&AI, Jeff serves as Director of Operations with additional responsibilities for contract negotiations, business development and client relations.

Jeff is active in his civic and professional community with memberships in the Council of Engineering Consultants (CEC) and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).


William Truett Wilson, RPLS – Director of Survey

Truett offers over 22 years of experience in land surveying. As G&AI’s Area Survey Manager, his experience includes a broad range of surveying responsibilities including: calculations, field crew supervision, survey reports, geodetic surveying and calculations, preparation of boundary line agreements, easement and exhibit preparation and quality control / conformation surveys. Truett is active in the professional community with membership in the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors. He also assisted in the development of a student chapter of TSPS at Tarrant County Junior College. As the Director of Survey, Truett shares responsibility for contract negotiation, client management and business development and oversees survey project costing for the firm.


Joseph S. Anderson, P.E. – Director of Utilities

Joe has worked in the civil engineering and civil construction fields for more than 26 years. Currently, as the Director of the Utility Division for Gorrondona & Associates, Joe is responsible for overseeing all aspects of this group, including managing SUE investigations for both public and private clients, coordination and reimbursement of utility adjustments in rights-of-way, preparation of cost proposals, preparation and maintenance of project schedules, cost tracking, project staffing, negotiation and management of subcontracts, procurement of project materials and supplies, and interaction with client representatives. Joe has been the Engineer of Record on hundreds of Subsurface Utility Projects throughout the state of Texas for numerous clients.

Joe is active in his civic and professional community with memberships in the Council of Engineering Consultants (CEC) and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).

 


Lyndon “Bud” Hodgin, RPLS – Director of Business Development

Mr. Hodgin has 35 years of experience across a broad spectrum of land surveying practice. He has performed boundary surveys, engineering design surveys, right-of-way mapping and utility route surveys. He has established project control and performed construction lay-out services for private and municipal developments, streets, roadways, rail lines, airports and educational facilities. His experience includes both conventional and GPS survey methodologies on hundreds of surveys in the Metroplex and North Texas area over the last several decades on municipalities, state and federal projects. Mr. Hodgin has managed TxDOT right-of-way mapping projects, design and construction projects and both on-system and off-system bridge projects for eleven different districts in twenty-eight counties throughout Texas.

 


Kenneth B. Riner, P.E. – Director of Geotechnical & CMT Services

Mr. Riner is a registered professional engineer with over 26 years of progressively responsible and diverse technical, managerial and business development experience in the geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and inspection, and environmental consulting/remediation industries. As the Director of Geotechnical and CMT Services for Gorrondona & Associates, Mr. Riner is responsible for overseeing all aspects of this group, including project, technical, and administrative management, as well as business development activities. Mr. Riner brings a technically competent and pragmatic problem solving approach, along with an understanding of construction and related cost issues. Mr. Riner has been directly involved in hundreds of large and small geotechnical engineering projects throughout Texas for both private and public clients. His expertise includes foundations, expansive soils, slope and erosion protection, retention structures, excavations and utilities, pavement design, as well as failure analysis and forensic studies.
